The Sony Xperia Z2 smartphone will receive a new update in the coming weeks that has just been detected in the certification system of the Japanese company Sony. This update responds to the name of 17.1.1.A.0.402, and although at the moment we do not have any official confirmation regarding the news that it will bring, everything indicates that it will be an important update.
The reason for which it is assumed that it will be a major update lies in the name of this new file. The latest version available for the Sony Xperia Z2 responds to the name of 17.1.A.2.69, and if we compare it with the name of 17.1.1.A.0.402 of this new file, we will see that the last two digits have been replaced by a different code. We can also see that an additional “ 1 ” has been added at the beginning of the denomination. According to some users on the network, we could be facing an update aimed at solving small bugs detected in the Sony Xperia Z2 camera(mainly focused on the option to record videos with 4K resolution).
If we refer to the details of this certification, we will see that the update has been detected on May 5, so we will probably begin to receive this same update officially throughout the current month of May.
