The recently presented Sony Xperia Z2 from the Japanese company Sony has received a new update that for the moment has only been detected in some specific regions of the world (specifically in Asian and American territory). The reason why this update has only reached some regions of the planet is very simple: the Sony Xperia Z2 has not yet been launched in Europe (its launch is scheduled for May 1). Therefore, for the moment we have to settle for taking a look at the news that we will find when buying the Sony Xperia Z2 in Europe.
The new update of the Sony Xperia Z2 responds to the name of 17.1.A.2.69 (the latest available version had the name of 17.1.A.2.55), and it is a small file that apparently does not introduce any visual novelty within mobile interface. Rather, it seems to be an update intended to correct small errors detected in this terminal by Asian and American users. Regarding the operating system, the latest version available for the Sony Xperia Z2 is still Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Remember that this type of update can be downloaded and installed in two ways. The first one - in the case of Sony - consists of downloading the PC Companion program onto our computer. This program helps us to install any update that is officially published by this manufacturer on the mobile. The second method does not require any computer, since we simply have to enter the “ Settings ” application and look for the “ About device” section". From this configuration window we will be able to check in a matter of seconds if we have an update available for download. Of course, it is advisable to download the updates only using the WiFi connection instead of the data connection.
With less than half a month for the arrival of the Sony Xperia Z2, we know that we are talking about a smartphone that incorporates a screen of 5.2 inches with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Inside we have a quad- core processor that operates at a clock speed of 2.3 GHz in the company of a RAM memory with a capacity of 3 GigaBytes. The internal storage capacity is 16 GigaBytes, and we can increase it using an external microSD memory card of up to 64 GigaBytes. The operating system installed as standard, as we have already mentioned, is Android in its version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat. We also have two cameras, a main camera of 20.7 megapixels and a front camera of 2.2 megapixels. And finally, we cannot forget to mention the battery that makes all these specifications possible: this battery has a capacity of 3,000 milliamps.
