The Japanese company Sony has just officially launched a new update that solves the problem of the sound detected recently in some units of the Sony Xperia Z1, Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. It is an official update that responds to the name of 14.3.A.0.757, and the only objective of this new file is to solve the sound error that caused problems when playing songs or videos with sound in these three terminals of the Xperia range.
Although the update is intended to reach the entire world, for now we only have a list of limited countries that are currently receiving this new file. In the case of the Sony Xperia Z1, the countries that have already received the update at the time of this writing are the following:

- Germany
- Hungary
- Netherlands
- Poland
- Slovenia
- Sweden
In the case of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, the list of countries is much shorter:
- United Kingdom
- Germany
And in the case of the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact we have a somewhat more extensive list of countries:
- Russia
- France
- China
- Germany
- Israel
- Poland
- Italy
- Austria
- Philippines
Now, what about the countries that do not appear in this list? The answer is none other than patience. All owners of any of these three smartphones will have to wait a few days for the update to reach the entire planet. Of course, it is likely that mobiles purchased under an operator will have to wait some additional time to download and install the same update.
All users who want to check if the update is already available for download can follow these simple steps:
- First we have to enter the Settings application of our mobile. This application can be found in the list of programs next to the applications that we have installed on our own. Equally, it is easy to locate it: it is accompanied by the icon of a gear.
- Once inside this application, the next thing to do is click on the option " About the device ".
- Now we only have to click on the option " Update the operating system ". From here and in the event that the update is already available for download, the mobile will show us on the screen all the instructions to follow to download and install this new file.
According to the comments of users who have already been able to access the update, this new file leaves no trace of the sound problems detected in some units of the Xperia range of smartphones.
