Next week begins the German electronics fair, IFA 2013, and it will be then that the Japanese Sony will present, supposedly, the Sony Xperia Z1 and Sony Xperia Z1 Mini. As has been rumored for weeks, they would be a couple of teams called to lead the Japanese proposal for high-end and mid-range catalogs, and they will do so by placing a large part of their efforts in the multimedia section. At this time we will talk about the small version, since through the popular XDA Developers portal an image of the device compared to the BlackBerry Q10 would have been revealed, offering interesting clues about the size and format of the still unpublished device.
Knowing that the width and length dimensions of the terminal front keypad corresponding to 119.6 x 66.8 mm, a comparative approach with the Sony Xperia Z1 Mini invites us to think that it would present measures of 109.2 x 57.9 millimeters. And following the indications that derive from this, from GSMArena they would have deduced that the screen of the Sony terminal would not reach the 4.3 inches of which they have been talking so far. The Sony Xperia Ray is in fact taller, although narrower, than the supposed Sony Xperia Z1 Mini is, and in the case of that we are talking about a phone with a 3.3-inch screen, so it would be difficult for the Japanese to fit more than 3.5 or four inches in the front of the team that we hope to see on September 4.
Until now, it had been said that this device would feature a 720p high definition panel, although other rumors pointed to the presence of a qHD resolution, closer to what is expected from a mid-range. However, as it seems that it will be a team that does not come close to the standards of a flagship, where it would stand out "" always giving credit to the leaks that have been arranged so far "" is in the camera section. And is that the Sony Xperia Z1 Mini would have a sensor of no less than 20.7 megapixels, the same is expected to carry the Sony Xperia Z1. This, however, would be able to capture videos with very high 4K quality, which is, so to speak, twice the FullHD standard. The Sony Xperia Z1 Mini would not have as much power as its older brother, so the option for filming sequences would be more modest.
We thus speak of the presence of a dual-core processor in the small great mobile that Sony would unveil next week, probably a Snapdragon 400, although this data does not have as much support as other rumors that are being handled for the device. It is also not known if it will arrive with Android 4.2 or with Android 4.3, so at this time it only remains to retain some patience until the manufacturer holds its event in the run-up to IFA 2013.
