The Japanese Sony continues to refine its portfolio of mobile overlooking absorb a substantial part of the market pie. The Sony Xperia J is one such example. This device, which was presented last week together with the Sony Xperia T and Sony Xperia V, is the candidate of the Japanese multinational for the mid- range segment. In addition to proposing a balanced and solvent technical profile, the Sony Xperia J will go on sale with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as standard.
At the moment, it is unknown when the Sony Xperia J would begin to be sold in stores. However, you can now start booking to be the first to receive it, once it is officially launched in stores. At least, in the United Kingdom this process has begun. So much so that in the shop online Clove and can apply for this Sony Xperia J. And not only that. In addition, it has already revealed its price: about 190 pounds that, at the currency exchange, would be about 240 euros.
For that price, the user takes home a terminal screen four inches and resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It also equips a five megapixel camera with an LED flash and a one GHz single core processor. The RAM memory of this Sony Xperia J remains at 512 MB, while that reserved for data storage amounts to four GB, which could be supplemented with up to an additional 32 GB, as long as we use the corresponding microSD card.
The Sony Xperia J is a very complete mobile in terms of connections. Perhaps the only thing that could be missed in this smartphone is the presence of an NFC proximity communication chip, but beyond that, the box is very solvent: Wi-Fi, 3G, aGPS, Bluetooth, microUSB and compatibility with DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct and Hotspot systems.
One of the additional attractions offered by this Sony Xperia J is the possibility of having 50 GB of space in the cloud. To do this, the Sony Xperia J user would have to register with the service provided by Box, one of the alternatives to the popular Dropbox virtual data warehouse.
The new Sony Xperia line in which this model is embedded recovers the arched appearance of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, describing a subtle curvature in the rear of the device that gives the terminal a very attractive appearance. Likewise, the design of the Sony Xperia J includes a small space with an LED notifier in the lower area of the device, heir to the translucent bar that we know from the Sony Xperia S.
It would only remain to know when this Sony Xperia J would go on sale. It will be during this same 2012 when we could see this touch mobile in stores, although it is risky to predict the month that will serve to mark the launch of the mid-range equipment at hand. We hope to expand this data in the coming days.
