After its presentation a few months ago, the Sony Xperia 1 goes on sale in Spain. The latest flagship of the Japanese manufacturer surprised by its 4K OLED screen with 21: 9 format, as well as its triple rear camera system. However, at the moment we could not buy it in our country. Well, now Sony has confirmed that the Xperia 1 can already be purchased on Amazon with a price of 950 euros. Although we must bear in mind that the delivery date will be June 5. Let's refresh its features.
A movie screen
One of the most striking features of the Sony Xperia 1 is its screen. It has a 6.5-inch OLED panel with 4K resolution and supports HDR images. But we say that it is a cinema screen because it has a 21: 9 format, the most used for film productions.
This format makes the terminal somewhat longer than usual. In addition, Sony has incorporated the X1 image processor for mobile phones, inherited from the manufacturer's range of televisions. On the other hand, the screen is compatible with a wide ITU-R BT.2020 and DCI-P3 color space with D65 illuminant.
In addition to a spectacular screen, the Sony Xperia 1 has a triple camera system. It has three 12-megapixel sensors, with an angular sensor, an ultra wide angle sensor and a telephoto lens. But the best part is that it includes the BIONZ X chip for mobile phones, inherited from the Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras.
Inside the Sony Xperia 1 we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, probably the most powerful chip on the market at the moment. It is combined with 128 GB of internal memory and 6 GB of RAM.
As for the design, Sony rescues the fingerprint reader on the side of other models of the company. In addition, the Sony Xperia 1 has resistance to water and dust. Of course, as can be seen in images, the Japanese manufacturer has not resorted to any "trick" to eliminate the front notch. It just doesn't have because the mobile has frames on the top and bottom.
Price and availability
The Sony Xperia 1 arrives in Spain with an official price of 950 euros. At the moment we have it available on Amazon, although, as we have mentioned, the delivery of the device will not take place until next June 5.
We have not yet seen it in other stores, but surely from next week we will be able to locate it in the usual stores.
