It is not the first time that we refer to the Samsung Nexus Prime, a mobile that can be defined in various ways from enumerations: the third native Google phone, the second device manufactured by Samsung for this segment, the first to equip Android Ice Cream Sandwich and possibly the last one that would run from a manufacturer other than Motorola.
While this device has already been confirmed by the manufacturer and by lawyers for the company itself, this time new data come from an operator. And it is that in an information published by the Boy Genius Report site, it is stated that Verizon would have refused to add the Samsung Galaxy S II to its catalog in favor of the Samsung Nexus Prime, with a view to making the iPhone 5 tougher.
The launch of Verizon would be scheduled for next October, also posing it as an exclusive, which as we say, would not only imply the launch of the terminal, but also the next Google platform, which, according to what has been commented for weeks, is focused on converging the paths of the firm's mobile and tablet systems.
Although the appeal of the Samsung Galaxy S II (both the original version and the recent LTE edition with tweaks in its features) is known by all, Verizon have preferred to be patient in favor of this device that will have the next generation of Samsung screens: Super AMOLED HD.
The new panel of the South Korean manufacturer would concentrate the best of the latest Super AMOLED Plus (high brightness indexes and a remarkable color saturation) with a spectacular canvas that has been raised, still unofficially, in 1,280 x 720 pixels, which would be distributed on a 4.5 inch multi-touch surface.
On the other hand, the presence of a dual-core processor and a speed of 1.5 GHz, supported by a one GB RAM memory, is another point that is almost taken for granted in the technical configuration of the Samsung Nexus Prime.
