Samsung would have everything ready to announce its new flagship at the gates of the next Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. This year the Galaxy S8 is expected to offer some innovative features, including a new virtual assistant dubbed Bixby, which could be accessed through a new button. In fact, from SamMobile they have echoed in the last hours some new terminal housings, in which this new button would be appreciated that to date had not been identified. The new device would also have a larger screen, a more powerful processor and a 3D camera to improve captures.
New images of the future cases of the Galaxy S8 would have revealed the appearance of a fourth button, which could be used to access the new virtual assistant Bixby. As we can also see in the images, it seems that there is no opening for a fingerprint sensor, which reinforces the hypothesis that this year the South Korean would have placed it under the screen itself. Synaptics recently introduced a new fingerprint sensor that can be located under the glass, and Samsung could use it for the Galaxy S8.For its part, we would not have access to the usual physical home button of previous generations, it would also be integrated into the screen itself, making it the main protagonist on the front.
Observing the filtered images, there is a detail that draws our attention powerfully. It seems that this year the space for the camera is much larger. However, there is a theory that would explain this. The South Korean may have chosen to place the heart rate sensor and flash on one side of the camera, and the fingerprint reader on the other. In this way, this last feature would arrive integrated this time in the back and not under the panel as has been said.
According to other previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S8 would be powered this year by an Exynos 8895 or Snapdragon 835 processor, which would be accompanied by an 8 GB RAM, for which the company's 10 nm technology would be used. Also, rumors agree that the new team would have a 5.7-inch panel. We would also know a Plus version, which, in this case, would flaunt a 6.2-inch screen. Both would wrap on both sides, as we have seen previously in the range edge of Samsung.
As for the rest of the features, there is talk of a 3D camera, to capture photos with higher quality and Android 7.0 operating system, the latest version of Google's mobile platform. Of course, we also expect top-level connections, a USB Type-C port and a high-amperage battery, which we hope this year will reach 4,000 mAh, or at least approach it.
