Samsung would have applied for a new patent related to a dual rear camera with intelligent zoom. At the moment it is unknown if it would have the intention of incorporating this system in its next Galaxy S8, a device that could be presented next February in Barcelona. This new patent would consist of a double lens capable of recording or photographing objects that are in our environment, offering an effect similar to the Portrait mode of the iPhone 7 Plus even in motion. We will give you the details below.
We imagine that Samsung intends to launch spectacular new flagship models during 2017. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 will be two of the devices that will have the most to talk about thanks to their features and functions. From the first one we have new data every time. The last one is related to the photographic section. And, according to a new patent requested by the South Korean, the Galaxy S8It could come with a double camera with object tracking capable of photographing or recording everything that is around us. Apparently, the first lens would make a general plane, like the classic image we capture with our mobile. For its part, the second lens would be in charge of chasing the chosen object throughout the plane. That is why it is called intelligent zoom, since the camera would be in charge of isolating the object from the rest of the image without us having to make any additional effort.
In this way, we would find two cameras with the same resolution, or the sensor in charge of chasing objects may have a higher resolution. The user could keep the smartphone camera still and still have the object in motion enlarged. By looking more closely at the tracked object, we could reduce the resolution of the resulting photo or video. That is why it is believed that this second lens would have a higher resolution, because it would have to aim to match the first lens at the time of extracting the enlarged image.
As we said, with a second sensor designed to chase objects through the panel, Samsung could apply an effect similar to the Portrait mode of the iPhone 7 Plus, even in motion. The downside is that it may not arrive in time for the launch of the Galaxy S8, a terminal would be announced on 26 February in the traditional Unpacked of Samsung. This new model would arrive without a physical start button. This means that the screen would be completely tactile and, therefore, would have a greater role. In addition, the S8 would have an Exynos 8895 processor, capable of performing together with a Mali-G71 graphics card ,6 GB of RAM and an improved design, with certain futuristic touches. The device would come standard with Android 7.0 Nougat, the latest version of Samsung's mobile platform
