The Samsung Galaxy S8 is currently available in three colors: Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, and Arctic Silver. However, it looks like we will have new colors available soon. A listing that appeared on a Samsung website could have revealed the company's intentions. Three new colors appear in this list : Ice Lake Blue, Smoked Purple Gray and Quicksand Gold. These join other colors that we still do not have in Spain, such as Maple Gold and Coral Blue.
It is not the first time that Samsung has added new colors to its high-end range. Without going any further, we saw it last year with the Samsung Galaxy S7. Throughout the year, new colors arrived, such as silver and blue. This year it seems that the company could expand that range of colors even more.
Currently in Spain we can get the Samsung Galaxy S8 in only three color options: black, silver and a gray species with purple touches. However, in other countries they have two more colors available: gold and blue. As in the models we have in our country, the color is limited to the back of the terminal. The front part is black, we choose the color we choose.
It seems that this range of colors could be expanded shortly. As published in Phonearena, Samsung's Thai website has listed the terminal in three new colors. These would be Ice Lake Blue (we understand that it will be a dark blue), Smoked Purple Gray (a purple hue) and Quicksand Gold (a soft gold). Apparently, the Galaxy S8 + will only arrive in the last two shades. If confirmed, the range of colors of the Samsung Galaxy S8 would be expanded to no less than 8 different shades.
At the moment we do not know if these colors will reach all markets or will be only for Thailand. As we said, in Spain we still don't even have the gold and blue options. It only remains to wait to see what Samsung decides.
