Samsung just made what was a shouting rumor official. The company has launched a pink variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8 +, its current flagship. With this there are already six colors available for the device, so there is an increasing variety of shades to choose from. The terminal is now available in the following colors: black, silver, gray, coral blue and gold.
According to Samsung's official press release, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will go on sale in pink in select markets. At the moment, it has not been specified which ones, except for South Korea and Taiwan. However, there are high chances that it will end up landing in this part of the world, since the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge did land in Spain in this color. For now, only the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will wear pink. That is to say, the standard model will be left without a chassis of this tonality for the moment. As the South Korean company comments, to design the pink case that now surrounds the Galaxy S8 Plus it would have been inspired by nature. This new color will give it modernity and elegance.
Same features, another color
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus in pink will continue to retain the same design and features as always. The device arrived built in metal and glass, IP68 certification, fingerprint reader and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a 6.2-inch screen with a resolution of 2,960 x 1,440 pixels ( 529ppp). We consider it, therefore, a whole phablet. Inside this device there is room for an Exynos 8895 processor accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. Its storage capacity is 64 GB, expandable by using microSD type cards.
Among other features we find the new Bixby assistant, Android 7 and Bluetooth 5, GPS, USB type C, NFC (in the connection section). The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus also has an exceptional photographic set. The new phablet equips a 12 megapixel main sensor, aperture of f / 1.7, dual LED flash and stabilizer. The front sensor, meanwhile, has a resolution of 8 megapixels and has autofocus. Also, the S8 Plus offers a 3,500 mAh battery with fast charging. The phone can be purchased free for about 900 euros.
