The leaks around the Samsung Galaxy S8 continue. On this occasion the power data in the Geekbench test of the Samsung Galaxy S8 + have appeared on the network. According to the leaked data, the performance test would have been carried out on a unit with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4 GB of RAM and Android 7.0. The results are amazing.
A few minutes ago, the leak website Slashleaks published an image of a performance test carried out, theoretically, to the Samsung Galaxy S8 +. Specifically, it is the well-known Geekbench test, which is used to measure the performance of the processor and memory of mobile phones.
The test gives us some terminal data. It is a unit with a Snapdragon 835 processor and 4 GB of RAM. Although the test does not reflect it, we can tell you that this processor consists of four cores running at 2.45 GHz and another four at 1.9 GHz. We can also see in the data that the terminal is running Android 7.0.
Honestly, the result has surprised us. The supposed Samsung Galaxy S8 + has achieved 6,084 points in the “Multi-Core” test. This result would be below that achieved by the Samsung Galaxy S7, which obtained 6,347 points in the same test. It would also be lower in the "Single-Core" test, with a result of 1,929 points compared to 2,163 points obtained by its predecessor. However, it is fair to comment that the S7 unit discussed incorporated the Exynos 8890 processor.
The Snapdragon 835 is the first processor manufactured in 10 nanometers. According to Qualcomm data, they have managed to make it 30% thinner and 40% more efficient than its predecessor.
However, we must not forget that this data has been leaked and may not be real. It could even be a test carried out with an unfinished unit.
