The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active looks set to be unveiled soon. In the last hours we have seen a number of leaks of this device, details about its specifications, differences and similarities with respect to the Samsung Galaxy S8. We have also been able to see on different occasions the design in the form of a render, conceptual images and real images of the off-road model of the Galaxy S8, but until now, we have not been able to see it in a press image, in great detail. This has been filtered by Evan Blass through his Twitter account, where we can see in detail the front and one of the sides.
Unfortunately, only the front of the device has been leaked, but thanks to this we can know all the details of the front. The barely-framed screen will also come to this device, with rounded corners. Unsurprisingly, we don't have a curved panel on both sides. At the bottom we do not find anything, so the navigation buttons will be on the screen, and the fingerprint reader will be located at the back. In the upper part we see the speaker for calls, the front camera and different outputs, which undoubtedly belong to the iris scanner. On the other hand, we can see the right side of the device. We only see the power button, but the more reinforced corners are appreciated, to resist shocks and falls.

The chosen processor will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. In addition, it will have a single storage version, 64 GB. On the other hand, the main camera will be 12 megapixels, will include a 4,000 mAh battery and will come with Android 7.0 Nougat, with its own customization layer. It is also expected to include IP68 water resistance, as well as certified against bumps and drops. We still do not know the presentation date of this device, as well as its price. We will have to wait for Samsung to say something about it.
