Samsung would be finalizing the details of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, its new upcoming releases that we would officially know on February 21 at the doors of the Mobile World Congress. They wouldn't be the only high-end devices the company would be working on. After them would arrive the Galaxy Note 6 and the Galaxy S7 Edge Plus, an improved version of the Galaxy S7 Edge, which may not reach Europe.
Last year the South Korean decided not to bring its current Samsung Galaxy Note 5 phablet to the old continent. Although it was said on some occasions that we would see him here, he never made an appearance. This year the company, judging by the rumors, would have very different plans. As revealed by GSMArena, mentioning an important source from one of the main British operators, the Galaxy Note 6 would be distributed again in the United Kingdom and very possibly later throughout the continent. No, instead, we would be so lucky with the Galaxy S7 Edge Plus.
If these rumors are true, this year the South Korean would reverse its plans with respect to those of 2015. Yes we would enjoy the new phablet of the Note family in Europe, but instead we would not know so closely the new Plus version of the " Edge " range. Logically we will not know if this will be the case until the company is officially pronounced, something that would not happen until well into the year. Recall that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus was presented last August. The device began to be distributed weeks later in Spain.
And what do we know so far about the next Galaxy S7 Edge Plus ? Recently the blog Gadgetz Arena published an image in which the supposed list of specifications of the device was shown, which responds to the code SM-93XX. According to what they told us, it would mount a generous 5.7-inch QHD screen, the same one that came with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, its predecessor. Inside there would be room for Qualcomm's new processor, Snapdragon 820, a quad-core chip that would also power the new Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.As in the case of these two, there would also be another version that would have the Exynos 8890, a house SoC that integrates a Mali880MP12 GPU. The RAM memory would be 4GB in any of the versions.
As for the rest of the features, this year the most outstanding novelty would focus on the camera. The new Galaxy S7 (in any of its variants) would have the new BRITECELL sensor , which promises to improve results when capturing images in low light. But for this you would have to reduce the resolution to increase the sensor. In this way, the main camera would equip a 12 megapixel sensor, instead of the 16 megapixel one with which it arrived last year.
