The launch of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha has once again put the spotlight on the South Korean company Samsung. The eternal struggle of plastic cases versus metal cases seems to have been resolved with a new design concept that incorporates metal sides, keeping the plastic in the rest of the terminal design. And according to new rumors, the metallic sides could also be present in both the designs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (successor to the current Samsung Galaxy Note 3) and the Samsung Galaxy S6 (successor to the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S5).
In the case of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, recent leaked photographs have already revealed that the design of this smartphone could be accompanied by metal sides identical to those incorporated in the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. The rear of the Note 4 would be made up of a micro-perforated plastic casing, while the front would maintain the usual design that characterizes Samsung's high-end smartphones.
The technical specifications of the Galaxy Note 4, the information we know today, will be formed by a screen Super AMOLED of 5.7 inches that will achieve a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (with a pixel density in screen 515 ppi). The processor chosen for the European version of this mobile answer the name of Exynos 5433, will have eight cores and will be accompanied by a memory RAM of 3 gigabytes. The internal storage space will be up to 64 GigaBytes expandable by means of an external memory cardmicroSD up to 128 GigaBytes. The main camera will incorporate a sensor 16 megapixel accompanied by an optical image stabilization and dual-LED flash.
Regarding the Samsung Galaxy S6, the information that is handled today is much more limited. Leaving aside the possibility that this mobile incorporates some sides made of metal, the only data that we know in relation to its technical specifications are those that appeared leaked a few days ago. According to this extra-official information, the Samsung Galaxy S6 will feature a display of 5.2 inches with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. Inside a processor will stay Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 which is also accompanied by a memory RAM of 4 gigabytes. Given that the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 will probably not take place until 2015, it is assumed that the operating system installed as standard on mobile this is Android in its version of Android L.
Let's not forget that all this information has not yet been officially confirmed by Samsung, so we will have to wait until the next IFA 2014 technology event to fully know the technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The event will take place in the city of Berlin (Germany) between days 5 and 10 September, and is expected to Samsung will hold its presentation on September 3. The presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S6, meanwhile, will probably not be made official until next year 2015.
