Do you remember the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and its leather cover on the back? At the beginning of September, the Korean company Samsung presented to the world a new edition of the Samsung Galaxy Note that moved away from the classic plastic cases to give way to a new sensory experience in terms of coverage. And it is that from now on, users who have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in their hand will notice the touch of a skin cover, much warmer and more pleasant than any metal or plastic surface. At this point in the year, one of the most anticipated news from the Korean company Samsungit is directly related to its next flagship. And on the subject of the skin cover and the hypothetical launch of an acclaimed Samsung Galaxy S5, today we have to talk about the back of this device. And it is that according to the latest rumors, and in contrast to what has been discussed so far, Samsung would have decided to incorporate a leather back cover to leave behind the plastic for which the owner of the Galaxy saga has been criticized so many times.
Metal lovers wouldn't be out of luck either. At first, the rumors pointed to an agreement between Samsung and Catcher Technology for the incorporation of metallic casings to the next flagship of the firm. It was, in case you did not know, the same manufacturer that supplies metal bodies to Apple for the manufacture of iPad and MacBook, but also to the Taiwanese firm HTC for its HTC One completely made of aluminum. The fact is that as soon as this information was leaked, all the media began to speculate about the possibility that Samsungwill join the fashion of metals. But after a few weeks, sources close to the South Korean company say that the metallic materials ordered from Catcher Tecnhnology will not be used for the cases of the Samsung Galaxy S5. Nothing is further from reality. It is expected, however, that these materials will be used for the new Galaxy F series on which rivers of ink have already flowed. It would, it seems, a new collection of smartphones with Android to be framed within a high range, but would not reach the market until well into the second quarter of 2014.
So, and according to the latest information, it seems that everything makes sense. The new Samsung Galaxy S5 would have a leather cover identical to that of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that you already know or that of the Samsung Galaxy Round, the device that became famous a few weeks ago for having a curved screen for the first time. According to this same source, the case would be available in different colors, although for now we cannot specify which ones. Some bet on the more standard tones (black and white), but we cannot rule out that Samsung also points to the most colorful colors such as pink, red or lemon yellow.
