The South Korean company Samsung has starred in a new leak in relation to the economic and compact version of the current Samsung Galaxy S5. In this case, the leak comes directly from the website of this manufacturer, and in addition to confirming the existence of this new terminal, it also reveals that the new Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini could end up being called Samsung Galaxy S5 DX.
This revelation has its origin in the Samsung website, and the company has been 'hunted' by publishing -probably accidentally… or perhaps not- a new section in which this smartphone has appeared. In addition to revealing that this terminal will hit the market with the name of Samsung Galaxy S5 DX, this leak has also allowed us to confirm much of the specifications that we have already been talking about in recent weeks. In this way, we can say with relative certainty that the compact version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 will incorporate a high resolution screen between 4.5 and 4.7 inches (which is a significant difference compared to the 5.1 inches of the S5).
Referring to the interior of the Samsung Galaxy S5 DX, it should be noted that the processor incorporated as standard in this terminal has four cores, while the RAM has 1.5 GigaBytes of capacity (a peculiar figure given that we are used to whole units when speaking of this specification).
At the moment we do not have any exact data that could allow us to get an idea of the launch date of the new Samsung Galaxy S5 DX. If we take into account the period of time that Samsung usually takes before presenting the compact versions of its flagships, we will see that everything indicates that this new smartphone could be seen officially during the month of June.
As a reminder, it is worth knowing that the Samsung Galaxy S5 is a smartphone that has been presented a few months ago (specifically at the end of February, during the Mobile World Congress mobile phone event in Barcelona). Your screen 5.1 - inch offers a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Inside the terminal we find a quad- core processor running at a clock speed of 2.5 GHz, while the RAM has a capacity of 2 GigaBytes. The main camera incorporates a sensor16 megapixel -accompanied an LED flash - while the front camera has a sensor of 2.1 megapixels. The built-in battery as standard has a capacity of 2,800 milliamps. In this case, the terminal is resistant to both water and dust, so it is to be expected that the new Samsung Galaxy S5 DX also incorporates this specification. In the same way, we also assume that the operating system installed as standard in the compact version of this smartphone will be Android in its Android version 4.4.2 KitKat.
