Announced in mid-June, the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A was a smartphone from the South Korean company Samsung that was originally intended solely for the Asian market. But with the leak of a performance test that has just been produced on the network we have been able to know that, finally, the improved version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 will also reach stores in Europe. And, in addition, it will do so with technical specifications practically identical to those of the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A that reached the Asian market.
As he unveiled the performance test of the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A in its European version, this is a smart phone that incorporates a screen of 5.2 inches with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Of course, along with the leak, rumors have also appeared that the screen resolution with which this mobile will reach the European market will finally be 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, as occurs in the Asian version of this same terminal. In any of the cases we would be talking about a screen resolution equal to or greater than that of the Samsung Galaxy S5.
As regards its interior, the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A has a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 of four cores operating at a clock speed set at 2.5 GHz. The capacity of the RAM memory is 2 GigaBytes, while the internal storage space can be expanded beyond 16 GigaBytes through a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 128 GigaBytes. The operating system installed as standard is Android in its version of Android 4.4.4 KitKat (that is, the corrected and improved version ofAndroid 4.4.2 KitKat).
Both the main camera and the front camera retain the same characteristics as the Samsung Galaxy S5 cameras. So much so that the main camera incorporates the same sensor of 16 megapixels with technology ISOCELL, while the front camera comes with a sensor two megapixels. With the main camera may take snapshots with a maximum resolution of 5,312 x 2,988 pixels, while videos are recorded at a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
But the true novelty of the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A goes much further. As its name indicates, this smartphone incorporates compatibility with LTE-A connectivity, which allows you to use the 4G data rate (that is, ultra-fast Internet) with a download speed that reaches up to 225 Mbps.
For now no more information is known in relation to this mobile, but it is expected that Samsung will make its launch official in Europe in the coming weeks. In the event that such confirmation does not occur during the month of August, the most likely date for the official presentation of this European version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A would be the month of September, coinciding with the celebration of IFA 2014.
