After the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S5, one of the most important data that we still needed to know was the price of this new terminal from the South Korean company Samsung. Although for now there is no one hundred percent official confirmation, we can already say that the price of the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be set at approximately 700 euros. This information coincides with the price range of between 600 and 700 euros that was already discussed before the presentation of this new smartphone from the Galaxy range.
The news has been released at the time when the e-commerce store Amazon.com has added to its list of products the new Samsung Galaxy S5 with 16 GigaBytes of internal storage with an exact price of 729 euros. It is a provisional price that guarantees that users who already reserve this mobile will only have to pay that amount to receive it at home. Therefore, it is most likely that the final price of the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be around 700 euros, even including the taxes that are usually added to products that arrive in Europe.
If we compare this figure with the starting price of the predecessors of the Samsung Galaxy S5 we can see that there are no major differences between one and the other terminals. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S3 came on the market with a starting price of about 700 euros in its free version. Later came the Samsung Galaxy S4, a terminal that came with a starting price of… 700 euros, exactly the same as in the previous case. Remember that we are talking about approximate prices and oriented towards mobiles that are acquired in the free mode. The prices that the operators will use will be completely different since they will entail a specific rate and permanence.
Recall that the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S5 took place a few days ago. In this presentation we have met all the technical specifications of this new smartphone, which comes with a screen of 5.1 inches with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The interior of this mobile contains a quad- core processor that operates at a clock speed of 2.5 GHz together with a RAM memory with a capacity of 2 GigaBytes. The internal storage capacity is available in two versions of 16 and 32 Gigabytes, expandable up to 64 Gigabytes.using an external microSD memory card.
The main camera incorporates a sensor of 16 megapixels, while the front camera -destinada mainly to videollamadas- sensor comes with a 2.1 megapixel camera. The 2,800 milliamp capacity battery offers us an autonomy of 21 hours in conversation and 390 hours in standby. The operating system that we find installed as standard is Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the latest version of Android.
The price that has been announced on this occasion does not affect the new version of the Samsung Galaxy S5. We also do not know the price that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will have with 32 GigaBytes of internal storage.
