The Samsung Galaxy S5 Alpha is already a reality. Or at least that is what the photographs that have leaked reveal to us showing the appearance of this new smartphone from the South Korean company Samsung. From what can be seen in the images, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Alpha (or simply Samsung Galaxy Alpha) would be a slightly smaller version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 that, in addition to differing in size, would also incorporate other novelties such as more rectangular edges or a camera with the LED flash located on the left side of the sensor.
Although there is no official confirmation of the respect, the latest rumors say the Samsung Galaxy S5 Alpha come with a screen of 4.7 inches to reach a resolution that is not yet confirmed, although it is speculated figures of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, or even 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. If we had to look for a category to encompass this mobile, we could probably say that we are facing a compact version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 that would seek to capture users who until now have not dared to take the step to the Samsung flagship due to the size of your screen (5.1 inches).
As for the rest of the technical specifications, the rumors published together with the images assure that the internal storage capacity of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha will be 32 GigaBytes and cannot be expanded by means of an external microSD memory card.
A detail that seems to have been forgotten is the metal casing that we have been talking about in recent weeks. It seems that, for now, Samsung will not launch any line of smartphones with all-metal casings, since this new Samsung Galaxy Alpha incorporates a plastic casing surrounded by aluminum edges.
On the other hand, it is expected that the Samsung Galaxy Alpha that has starred in this leak in the form of images will be officially presented during the month of August. Although if we echo the rumors that are circulating on the network right now we will see that there is information that indicates that Samsung could be having production problems that would prevent it from launching this new smartphone until, at least, the month of September. Either way we would be facing a launch designed to offer competition with the presentation of another of this year's flagships: the iPhone 6 from the US manufacturer Apple., which is also expected to incorporate a 4.7-inch screen such as the one that the Samsung Galaxy Alpha seems to bring with it. If to all this we add the imminent presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the reality is quite clear: Samsung does not want to risk losing a millimeter in its presence in the mobile phone market.
