We haven't heard of the Samsung Galaxy S10 in a while. The latest news that came to us about this model confirmed the integration of three cameras on its back, in the same way as in the current Huawei P20 Pro. Now an important South Korean media confirms another of the rumors that had been intuiting for some time: the on-screen speaker.
But not only the Samsung flagship would have this type of technology. The same source confirms that LG would also begin to mount mobiles with the speaker on the screen. Taking into account that its next launch in Europe will be the LG G8 (with the permission of the LG V40), it is most likely that it is this one.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 and the LG G8 as possible candidates to mount the speaker on the screen
The Galaxy Note 9 has not yet been presented and the Galaxy S10 is already beginning to be talked about. There are several features that are known today about the aforementioned terminal, such as the unlocking of fingerprints on the screen or the integration of a 3D camera sensor. A few weeks ago we saw how the first rumors of a screen with a speaker in the new Samsung terminal came to light, and now an important technological medium from South Korea confirms its integration both in the Galaxy S10 and in the next flagship of LG, the LG G8.
As we have mentioned before, the well-known Korean medium ETNews confirms that the main manufacturers in the country, that is, Samsung and LG, would begin to manufacture smartphones with the speaker on the screen from next year. According to the original note, the technology would already be ready to enter the production chain; it would only be necessary to integrate it into a smartphone. Recall that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the LG V40 will be presented throughout this year, so it is expected that the Samsung Galaxy S10 and LG G8 will release this technology.
The truth is that we have already seen this feature in other competing smartphones such as the original Xiaomi Mi MIX. However, the Chinese brand opted for a traditional speaker in the next version of the MIX due to its low loudness and strength. We will have to see if the Samsung and LG solution manage to overcome Xiaomi's technology.
