There are still a few months left for the presentation of the supposed Samsung Galaxy S10 or Samsung Galaxy X and several characteristics of the mentioned model are already beginning to be known. A few weeks ago, for example, we could see that the CEO of the company confirmed the integration of an on-screen fingerprint sensor in what will be the next Samsung flagship. Now a new rumor lets us know that the same Galaxy S10 will come in two variants with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 could have a variant without a cheaper in-screen fingerprint sensor
The new member of the Samsung S family is still a mystery to this day. Some leaks have let us see part of the features that will be integrated as standard, such as the processor, which according to Samsung itself will be able to reach speeds of up to 3 GHz. Just a few minutes ago, new new ones came out confirming that at least two of the models that Samsung will present will have a fingerprint sensor on the screen.
This is confirmed by the well-known blog Digitimes. According to several sources close to the brand, Samsung would present three different models of the Samsung Galaxy S10. Two of them would have the aforementioned fingerprint unlocking technology on the screen itself, with 6.1 and 6.4-inch panels. As for the model more contained in features, it would come with a fingerprint sensor on the back and would have a 5.8-inch panel, in the same way as the current Galaxy S9. Although the original news does not specify it, it is expected that this more contained version will have a lower price than both its namesake models and the current Galaxy S9 and S9 +.
At the moment we have to wait until new leaks to know a little more about these three models. What we can assure from today is that some of the Galaxy S10 models will come with the long-awaited fingerprint sensor on the screen. We can also assume that the screen ratio of these variants will be close to 100% and similar to that of other competing models such as the Vivo NEX or the rumored Xiaomi Mi MIX 3.
