There are still a few months to go before we can see the Samsung Galaxy S10. That's no reason for some of the main features of Samsung's flagship to come to light. A few weeks ago we learned, for example, that the S1o would have a double front camera, surely intended for the facial unlocking system that the brand is developing. New rumors come to light again. And it is that according to the well-known page The Bell, the Samsung terminal of 2019 will be one of the first mobiles with 5G.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 could have download speeds of up to 10 Gbps
No more than a month has passed since the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the S10 is already on the lips of all the media. The reason for the news this time is due to the expected 5G technology. According to a latest leak on The Bell website, the Samsung Galaxy S10 could be the first mobile in the world to have 5G; specifically the Plus model.
Vodafone will be one of the first operators to have 5G networks in Spain.
As can be read in the original report on The Bell's Korean page, the Galaxy S10 + would be the variant of the S10 that would have 5G. This variant would have a special version separate from the base S10 +, mainly due to the cost of the 5G module. Recall that to date few countries have implemented a 5G network, so it is expected that it will reach mobile devices in a staggered way until 2020, the year in which it is expected to reach the whole world. Among its many advantages, we find a higher download speed and the lower energy impact that this causes in the devices that integrate this technology. We are talking about speeds that reach 10 Gbps download (100 times faster than the common 4G network) and areduction of the energy consumed up to 90% compared to the 4G network.
At the moment it is too early to predict what the S10 will carry inside. However, taking into account that Samsung is one of the companies that is betting the strongest on this type of technology, it is expected that its phones will be the first to have 5G, in the same way as in previous models of the brand such as the Samsung Galaxy S2 or Galaxy S4, phones that released 4G and 4G LTE-A. We will have to wait until next year to see if we were right.
