- Samsung's Galaxy S10 will be more powerful than the Apple A12 Bionic of the iPhone XS
- Will only be sold in the United States
Yesterday we could see how Samsung presented what it is supposed that the Samsung Galaxy S10 carries in its guts. We are referring to the Exynos 9820, the brand's high-end processor that will be assembled by Samsung's devices of 2019. As is well known by all, the company does not exclusively assemble processors from the house. In fact, the current Samsung Galaxy S9 have two different processor versions: one Exynos and the other Snapdragon. Now thanks to the filtration of a new benchmark we can know all the power of the processor of the Samsung Galaxy S10; the so-called Snapdragon 8150.
Samsung's Galaxy S10 will be more powerful than the Apple A12 Bionic of the iPhone XS
Apple processors have always tended to be ahead of their competitors in power tests. So much so that today the A12 Bionic of the current iPhone XS, XS Max and XR far exceed the performance of terminals such as the Huawei Mate 20 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. It seems that it will not be the case from 2019. Thanks to the filtration of a benchmark of the Snapdragon 8150, the power of the new Qualcomm processor that has not yet been presented is clear, surpassing that obtained by the aforementioned Apple A12.
So we can see it in the upper capture. Specifically, this Snapdragon 8150 (also known as Snapdragon 855) obtains a score of nothing more and nothing less than 362,262 points on the Antutu website. Processors like Huawei's Kirin 980 or Apple A12 get scores around 360,000 and 315,000 points respectively. The Snapdragon 855 would be proclaimed as the most powerful processor to date in smartphones, absent the benchmarks of Samsung's Exynos 9820.
Will only be sold in the United States
As is often the case with the versions of Samsung phones with Snapdragon, its distribution will be limited only to the United States and surely South Korea. This has been the case historically, and it is to be expected that the company will repeat the same play with the Samsung Galaxy S10.
As for the rest of the regions, it will be the version with Exynos that reaches countries like Spain and Latin America. At the moment, the performance of the Exynos of the Galaxy S10 is unknown, but no big differences are expected between the American version and the European version. We will have to wait for the leak of a benchmark to confirm it.
