Over the weeks, more and more data is known about the Samsung Galaxy S10. The fingerprint sensor on the screen or the frameless design of the front are details that today are taken for granted. Other aspects such as the camera or battery capacity are anyone's guess… At least so far. And it is that a few minutes ago what could be the size of the battery of the Samsung Galaxy S10, with a much larger capacity than that of the Galaxy S9 and similar to what we can currently find in other models of the brand such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 could have a battery similar to the Galaxy Note 9
Nothing remains to be known about the S10. Although there are still a few months for us to see the mobile on stage, features such as the possible camera that it will mount or its colors are already known to practically everyone. New information now comes to us about its battery, which will be much larger than that of this year's models.
According to a reliable source close to Phone Arena, the new Samsung flagship could have a horizontal camera arrangement very similar to that of the Galaxy Note 9. This would not only confirm the integration of several rear sensors, but also the increase in the battery capacity. Remember that the Galaxy Note 9 has 4,000 mAh. The Galaxy S10 could have a capacity similar or even greater than those 4,000 mAh, which would represent an improvement of 14% compared to the S9 + battery and 33% compared to the S9. This, added to the optimization of Android 9 Pie and the 7 nanometer manufacturing of its processor, would make the S10 one of the best mobiles in terms of autonomy.
Regarding the physical size of its battery, we must bear in mind that this depends largely on the total size of the device, so it is expected that it varies depending on the version of the S10. The latest rumors claim that it will be 5.8 and 6.4 inches in the version of the base S10 and S10 Plus, although we will have to wait for new leaks to confirm both data before the official presentation event, which is estimated for February together with the 2019 Mobile World Congress.
