In the latest high-end devices from Samsung we have been observing the obsession of the company to reduce more and more the screen bezels. Everything indicates that the next Galaxy Note 9 would give even more prominence to the panel, something that would continue to be maintained in its next terminals. In fact, the popular leaker Ice universe (@UniverseIce) has published on his Twitter account a prototype of the South Korean's next flagship, which would reveal its possible appearance.
Although Ice universe has not directly mentioned the Samsung Galaxy S10, it has referred to the design as "beyond" ("beyond"), which is the code name that Samsung would be using to develop its next flagship mobile. Taking the Infinity Display concept to a whole new level, the alleged prototype hints at the complete removal of the top bezel and, to the satisfaction of many, a notch or notch would have been included either.
In addition, the size of the bottom bezel would also be reduced quite a bit, to the point of almost matching the thickness of the sides. However, due to the lack of bezels, there appear to be no visible sensors on the front, which suggests that they could potentially be hidden inside the terminal, as we have seen in the recently announced Oppo Find X. If true, this would mean that finally the fingerprint reader would be located inside the panel, as it has been waiting for a long time.
Notably, the bezel-less design matches previous leaks, which argue that the next flagship would feature a 6.2-inch screen capable of outputting sound, thus eliminating the need for speakers. Also, as you can see in the image, Samsung would once again include a dedicated button for the Bixby assistant on the left side of the frame, next to the volume rocker just above. This would ultimately be accompanied by a power key on the right side.
Considering that the launch of the Galaxy S10 is still at least 6 months away, it is quite likely that this prototype could simply be a modified image of the Galaxy S9 or S9 +. Also, even if it turns out to be a real prototype, it could still be subject to a number of design changes before its release. The truth is that if Samsung is able to mass produce a device with this screen-to-body ratio, we could see a significant increase in its sales over the next year.
