The Samsung Galaxy S10 is giving a lot to talk about even months after being presented. The fault for this is largely due to the leaks of the aforementioned model. Aspects such as the fingerprint sensor on the screen or the integration of three cameras in the Plus model of the S10 are already more than confirmed by the different technological means. Now another possible Galaxy S10 feature comes to the newsroom. And it is that a few minutes ago a series of patents signed by Samsung have been leaked that let us see a new gesture system that would allow us to handle and control the terminal without even touching it with our hands.
We can handle the Samsung Galaxy S10 with gestures in the air
Not one, not two, not three. Four are the patents of the South Korean manufacturer that have been leaked on the Patently Apple website. These four patents let us see the operation of an integration system through gestures that would allow us to handle the mobile with our hands in the air. Today about five years ago the Samsung Galaxy S4 already launched a similar system. However, this new gesture system would include news regarding this, not only when interacting with the mobile in question, but also when making those same gestures.
The possibilities of this new system would allow us (worth the redundancy), among other things, to shake, slide, move and even shake our hands to perform certain actions. These actions would be related to unlocking the device, browsing between lists and web pages, sliding the notification bar and even switching between songs, images and applications, as can be seen in one of the patents.
But these functions are not limited only to the handling of smartphones; We can also manage the computer interface through these same gestures, presumably through Samsung Dex and some sensors implemented in the new version of the device.
At the moment there are no more data related to this curious interaction system, although its implementation is very likely in the Samsung Galaxy S10. The company from South Korea already did it a few years ago with the S4, and it is not at all unreasonable that it ends up being implemented in the new flagship of the brand.
