Little by little we continue to know the details of the Samsung Galaxy S10, the next device from the South Korean company that could come with a triple camera, a screen without frames and according to the latest rumors, an on-screen fingerprint reader. Now, a leaked patent shows the operation and confirms that the terminal will include it.
As we have seen in SamMobile, the patent shows what this reader would be like, which would be located just under the glass and which would, of course, serve to unlock the terminal. The interesting thing is that the patent shows different pressure sensitive sensors, something similar to the 3D Touch. Therefore, to unlock the terminal using our fingerprint, it would be necessary to press lightly on the screen.
It is something similar to the virtual home button that Galaxy phones have from the S8. These terminals have a pressure sensor at the bottom and a virtual button that simulates the start one. If you press it lightly, the terminal turns on. Well, it seems that to unlock the Galaxy S10 it would have a similar mechanism.

An image shows a supposed Samsung terminal without a bottom edge and the location of the fingerprint scanner can be appreciated. It would be at the bottom of the screen. It is important to note that it is a patent of the company itself, and finally Samsung could choose a manufacturer for the implementation of this fingerprint reader.
According to rumors, the Galaxy S10 could come in up to four variants, three of them would have a fingerprint reader under the screen, while the fourth model, the cheapest, would have a fingerprint reader on the back. It is not the first time that we will see a reader under the screen. Some manufacturers, like Huawei with the Mate 20 Pro, already have a fingerprint reader. OnePlus, for example, will also incorporate it with the OnePlus 6T.
