The flagship of the Korean brand Samsung, the 2018 smartphone Samsung Galaxy Note 9, has just received a new beta update to Android 9 Pie, the fourth to be more exact. This update has been located in countries such as India, Germany and South Korea, being a minor version with just a small handful of changes. This update will also be available in all those countries that have previous beta updates for Android 9 Pie. The software version of this update is registered with the code N960FXXU2ZRLT.
Latest beta update of Android 9 Pie before the official version?
Everything pointed to the fact that the third update of the Android 9 Pie beta would be the last before the landing of the final version for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. However, the Korean firm has decided to further polish the beta version, adding corrections to small failures related to the touch screen function. For example, in relation to these errors, when the navigation by gestures that Android 9 Pie brings by default is activated, the function of pressing the home button does not work correctly. With this function we can return to the home screen even if this button is not shown, by a long press.
As touch screen errors are considered critical bugs, this fourth update of Android 9 Pie can be considered the first 'hotfix' update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9 + required two 'hotfix' updates until the final version was released. If the pattern is repeated for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is still a mystery, because we do not know when their terminals will be updated to the latest version of Android officially.
If you want to check if your terminal has received this new 'hotfix' update, you must go to your phone's settings, then go to the 'Software update' menu and tap on 'download' if you have it ready. Of course, you must have the previous beta versions to be able to install this new one.
