As the possible presentation date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 approaches (beginning of September), the leaks in relation to this new flagship are becoming more concrete and precise. So only one after day know the details of the ultraviolet sensor of the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, this time we learned that the display of the Note 4 could reach a resolution of type Quad HD (ie, 2,560 x 1,440 pixels).
Although all the information that we are getting to know is completely extra-official, we are dealing with technical data that comes from reliable sources within the mobile phone market. The information on the screen with Quad HD resolution has emerged from a small list in which some of the applications that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will incorporate as standard have appeared. Among the names of these applications the name " WQHD " appears repeatedly, which most likely corresponds to the type of resolution that the screen of this smartphone will incorporate.
On the other hand, this same list of applications also seems to deny the rumor of the retinal scanner that we met a few days ago. An application with the name of " FingerprintService.apk " appears in the list, which would confirm that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will incorporate a fingerprint scanner similar to the one that comes standard on the Samsung Galaxy S5 (located on the Start button). Although this does not turn out to be one hundred percent definitive proof of the absence of the retinal scanner, nothing seems to indicate that Samsungintends to incorporate two different sensors in the same smartphone (due to the costs that this would entail and, on the other hand, because a sensor is more than enough to offer a security measure for the user).
Another curious detail of this list of applications resides in the names of these two programs: " VRSVC.apk " and " VRSetupWizardStub.apk ". The abbreviation for " VR " could refer to the words " Virtual Reality " (that is, virtual reality), something that would coincide with the recent leak in which an image of Samsung's virtual reality glasses appeared. This small detail could be revealing that the South Koreans will present, together with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, their project of virtual reality glasses compatible with this new smartphone.
Regarding other technical specifications of the Galaxy Note 4, everything seems to indicate that this new flagship incorporate a screen 5.7 inches, a processor Exynos 5433 of eight cores, a memory RAM of 3 gigabytes an internal storage space of 32 GigaBytes and the Android operating system in one of its most recent versions (Android 4.4.2 KitKat or Android 4.4.4 KitKat). The presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to take place during IFA 2014, A technology event held in Berlin (Germany) between days 5 and 10 September.
