The South Korean company Samsung is currently publishing a new update that has begun to land on the European versions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It is an update that responds to the name of N9005XXUFNF4 and incorporates a file of 185 MegaBytes in weight. The main novelties are summarized in the arrival of the ultra-fast download mode of the Samsung Galaxy S5, the incorporation of the children's mode and different updates for the main Samsung applications.
The most important novelty of this update is the arrival of the ultra-fast download mode. We are facing an option that we can find installed as standard in the Samsung Galaxy S5, and in short it is a way that allows us to download files much faster while activating both the data connection and the WiFi connection (as long as when both are available at that time). This mode is available for downloading files larger than 30 MegaBytes in size.
Regarding the novelty of the children's mode (Kids Mode), we must know that this update only incorporates the necessary installer to be able to download and install this mode on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Therefore, once we have downloaded this update, we must also later download the Kids Mode application in the event that we are interested in leaving our smartphone in the hands of a child. The application occupies a space of 72.4 MegaBytes.
It should also be noted that this file incorporates version 2.0 of KNOX, an application focused on the security of smartphones. The update of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to reach all European countries over the next few days. The first to receive the update will be users who have purchased their terminal freely, while users who have done so under a telephone company will have to wait some additional time to receive the same update.
Remember that these types of updates are notified through a pop-up notice that appears in the notification center. In the event that we do not want to wait for the update notice, we can also verify the availability of this new file manually, and for this we must enter the Settings application to later access the " About device " section, from the which we will click on the option " Update the operating system". This option will allow us both to know if there is a new update and to download and install any file that was available for installation at that time. Although we decide to wait for the notification that informs us of the availability of the update, the process to install the new file is the same as in manual mode, so we simply have to follow the instructions that will appear on the screen to download and later install the new update available at that time.
