For several years, Samsung's Galaxy Note range has set itself apart from the rest due to its large screen size. With the evolution of the Galaxy S family this is changing. In fact, the latest flagship Samsung Galaxy S10 + features a 6.4-inch panel, the same size as the Galaxy Note 9. The big question is: what will be the modus operandi of Samsung in the next generations of Note?
According to a report published by Slashgear, it is rumored that the Galaxy Note 10 would offer a larger screen size than the current Note 9. It is said that it would arrive with the same size as the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G. The publication claims that the 6.7-inch panel would remain at the same QHD + resolution (1,440 × 3,040) as the 5G variant of the S10, suggesting that the panels would have the same dimensions.
However, what is still unclear is whether the panel would also come with a wider cutout to house a dual-lens selfie camera similar to that of the S10 5G. Of course, everything indicates that we would be facing a screen-to-body ratio of more than 89%. In the photographic section it would not be far from the S10 5G either. This means that the Note 10 could incorporate up to four lenses on the rear, the fourth being a 3D ToF sensor. Of course, the S Pen would continue to hold a prominent place, making it the only exclusive feature of the Note range.
Rumors also suggest that it would be Samsung's first smartphone without buttons. We do not know if the company would intend to host these elements on the panel itself, such as the fingerprint reader, or if it would be necessary to use gestures or some other system to turn off the terminal, raise the volume or access Bixby. It is very likely, as is customary with the Galaxy Note, that the new Note 10 will see the light next August. There are still a few months to go, but we will be very aware of new rumors and leaks to give you all the data on time.
