In its day we already had the opportunity to know the technical specifications of the new Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 through a filtered performance test, but this time it was Samsung itself that has confirmed the existence of this smartphone. Specifically, the India division of the South Korean company Samsung has published an image in which you can see what appears to be the Samsung Galaxy Grand 3. This image is also accompanied by a text in which the following message can be read: " The greatest of all *, coming soon ".
Translated into other words, this image leaves no doubt that the Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 will be officially presented very soon. We are talking about a mid-range smartphone that will succeed the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 that hit the stores during the month of November of last year 2013, incorporating as its most notable feature a relatively large screen of 5.25 inches in size (a size that remains several steps below the phablets of this brand, as is the case with the Note 4 with its 5.7-inch screen).
And what news will the Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 mean compared to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 ? Generally speaking, this new smartphone will be slimmer and slightly more powerful. Leaks indicate that among the characteristics of the new Galaxy Grand 3 we find a screen 5.25 inches with 1.280 x 720 píxele s resolution, a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 of four cores reaching 1.2 GHz clock speed, 1.5 gigabytes of RAM, 8 /16 gigabytes of internal storage expandable via a card microSD of up to 128 gigabytes, a main chamber 12 to 13 megapixels, a front camera of five megapixels and operating system Android in a version still to be confirmed.
The version of the operating system that the new Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 will incorporate from the factory is a mystery. At first there was talk that it would be the Android 4.4.4 KitKat version, but that information dates back to November of last year, so there is a possibility that Samsung has updated this smartphone to launch it market with Android version 5.0 Lollipop.
To give us an idea of the type of smartphone we are talking about, in the case of the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 the starting price of this mobile in the Spanish market was around a figure of between 400 and 500 euros. Since its launch back in 2013, the mobile phone market has evolved significantly, so we should not rule out the possibility that the new Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 will have a significantly lower starting price.
