The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is, so to speak, a version of the Samsung Galaxy S2 with the compass pointing in the direction of the mid-range. Its features place this terminal between the first and second generation Galaxy S, keeping the design of the first Samsung Galaxy Ace. In this case, unlike what we saw with the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2, we do however have a launch date associated with the possibility of managing a pre-reservation.
According to data from the British website Unlocked Mobiles, which is where the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 has been put on sale in advance, we see that this mobile can be obtained from April 23. However, it is already possible to get it, or at least reserve it, for a price of 250 pounds ”“ that is, almost 300 euros, at the current exchange rate ”“. Of course, we refer to the phone in free format, that is, prepared to work with the SIM card of any operator.
Technically, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 boasts a 3.8-inch screen with the same resolution as the Samsung Galaxy S2. With this, the definition is very good, given the concentration of pixels per inch that this panel reaches. It also has a camera capable of capturing images with a maximum quality of five megapixels and video in HD 720p format. As for the processor, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 has a dual-core chip, like the Samsung Galaxy S2, but with a significantly lower power, 800 MHz.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 also has the option to configure it with an NFC connection. This type of system allows the telephone to offer additional functions, which make the terminal become a virtual wallet, an electronic key or a gateway for the transmission of user information. And all within the reach of a simple contact with a platform that allows access to the terminal data, after having given the relevant permissions, of course.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 works with the previous version of Google's system. However, for now there is no news about the possibility that the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 that concerns us one day will receive this update. For now, it is not among the devices programmed for it.
