Following its official announcement, the Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 is now on sale. At least in some European countries, like Holland. The new terminal of the Korean manufacturer is already listed on its Dutch website. The terminal sports a nice design with small frames and a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED screen and FHD + resolution. In addition, it is a powerful terminal, with an eight-core processor and 4 GB of RAM. All this together with a spectacular front camera with double sensor and Live Focus mode. The Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 is already on sale in the Netherlands with a price of 500 euros.
At the end of December we officially met the Samsung Galaxy A8 2018. A terminal that clearly shows Samsung's intentions this 2018. And these are none other than bringing the “infinite screen” to the entire range. Although yes, not all terminals will have the same design that we saw in the Samsung Galaxy S8.
For now, the Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 equips a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with an FHD + resolution of 2,220 x 1,080 pixels. The screen occupies almost the entire front, but has larger frames than those seen in Samsung's high-end terminals. Still it offers an elegant design, topped by a glass back and metal frames. Due to the new design, the fingerprint reader is located at the rear. The Galaxy A8 2018 also has facial recognition.
Inside the Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 we have a processor with eight cores, four running at 2.2 GHz and another four at 1.6 GHz. Accompanying the processor we have 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
As for the battery, we have a capacity of 3,000 mAh with USB Type-C connector. This offers a range of up to 14 hours in 4G browsing.
But perhaps the most remarkable thing about the Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 is its photographic section. And more specifically the camera system that it equips in its front part. We have a dual sensor with 16 + 8 megapixels, both with f / 1.9 aperture. In addition, Samsung has included the Live Focus function, which allows us to modify the blur effect both live and afterwards.
Completing the set we have a rear camera with a 16 megapixel sensor and f / 1.7 aperture. This has automatic focus and is capable of recording video in Full HD resolution.
In summary, the Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 is an upper-middle-range mobile with very interesting features. At the moment, as we anticipated, it has been put on sale in Holland with an official price of 500 euros. We hope that it will soon arrive in Spain.
