A new mid-range terminal could hit the market shortly. It is the rumored Samsung Galaxy A6 and its older brother, the Samsung Galaxy A6 +. After appearing on the websites of the FCC and the WiFi Alliance, the larger model has appeared on the company's official website in Poland. The published model number matches the one published on the other two pages. Although the one on the official Samsung page was an error, it is a sign that the terminal is about to hit the market.
At the moment the leaked data does not say much about the terminal. However, we can know some of the features of the Samsung Galaxy A6 +. The first thing this leak confirms is that the terminal exists and will soon hit the market. Its model number is SM-A605FN / DS, which suggests that this new mobile will have dual SIM.
Taking into account that the model number that appears on the official Samsung website is the same that appeared at the time in the FCC, we also know some technical details. The first is that it will not have an Exynos processor, something common in Samsung's mid-range terminals. In its place we will find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It is an eight-core processor that operates at a maximum speed of 2 GHz.
Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6 +
Although the model that has appeared on the official website is the Plus, everything indicates that we will also see a "normal" Samsung Galaxy A6. In addition to the difference in screen size, which we take for granted, we will have a different technical set.
The Samsung Galaxy A6 will feature an Exynos 7870 processor. It is a chip with eight cores that will be accompanied by 3 GB of RAM. On the other hand, his older brother, as we have said, will equip the Snapdragon 625 with 4 GB of RAM. Both will arrive with Android 8.0 installed as standard.
If the leaked performance test data is correct, the power of both terminals could be on par. The Samsung Galaxy A6 achieved a score of 723 points in single-core and 3605 in multi-core. Its older brother, the Samsung Galaxy A6 +, scored 739 and 3469 points respectively.
