The realme x is official, this is the rival of the xiaomi redmi

After several weeks of rumors and leaks, the Realme X is finally official. Although the brand owned by Oppo and sister to OnePlus is not well known in Europe due to its absence in western markets, the company has announced its expansion plans to other countries around the globe, which could include Spain and India. The new terminal arrives as the alternative to the Xiaomi Redmi, with a series of characteristics very similar to the Oppo Reno recently presented.

Design inherited from the OnePlus 7 Pro and on-screen fingerprint sensor

As a brand owned by Oppo and OnePlus that it is, the Realme X has an identical design to the OnePlus 7 Pro.

Body made of metal and glass and a 6.53-inch screen with AMOLED technology and Full HD resolution whose interior houses an optical fingerprint sensor. Within this we also find a retractable camera mechanism that houses a sensor identical to the OnePlus 7 Pro and which we will talk about later.

Regarding the back, the terminal is accompanied by a double camera with the same characteristics as the OnePlus 7 and some gradient colors that converge depending on the incidence of light.

Hardware with upper-mid-range aspirations

Realme has decided to give it everything with its mid-range, and in technical terms, the company has spared no expense.

Snapdragon 710 processor along with 4, 6 and 8 GB of RAM and 64 and 128 GB of internal storage is the roadmap that makes up this terminal. To this set is added a 3,765 mAh battery with the VOOC 3.0 fast charging system with up to 20W.

For the rest, the terminal has Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 compatible with all bands, NFC technology and, of course, USB type C.

The same cameras as the OnePlus 7

When we say that Realme has decided to give it everything with its flagship phone, we are not talking in vain. In summary, we find a photographic section identical to that of the OnePlus 7, with a main camera based on the 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor and f / 1.7 focus aperture.

Along with this, a 5 megapixel camera whose aperture is set at f / 2.4 and a front camera in the form of a 16 megapixel retractable mechanism and f / 2.0 focal aperture.

Although the company has not specified the type of sensor, it is expected to be the same Sony IMX471 from the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro.

Price and availability of Realme X in Spain

We come to the section that interests us most of all. As is usual in this type of presentation, the company has not given data about the availability in the European market, the only thing we know is that it will begin to be available in China from next week.

Regarding the price, Realme has announced the following roadmap:

• Realme X 6 and 128 GB: 204 euros to change
• Realme X 8 and 128 GB: 230 euros to change
