Although it has not been specified in the original news, this new button on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 would open the ban on more smartphones of the brand with said button integrated as standard, so it would not be surprising if it was implemented so much in the Samsun Galaxy S10 as the Galaxy X.

The newest member of the Note family is just around the corner. Several months after its official presentation, practically all the details of this are known, such as its specifications or its possible design. Just a few minutes ago, another new piece of news was revealed that reveals the functionality of the new button on Samsung's flagship.
According to the aforementioned Korean media, the fifth extra button of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 would be intended for screen capture and system recording. The reasons for this would be influenced by the mobile approach to heavy gaming use due to the recent craze for "gaming phones". If we remember, the controls of both the Playstation 4 and the Nintendo Switch were presented with a similar button that allowed us - and allows - to record our games locally. That is why it would not be unreasonable for Samsung to implement one of similar functions in its flagship model from the second half of 2018.
What is not known at the moment is if we can configure the buttons to our liking or if on the contrary it will be limited to the recording functions. However, it is sure that it can be modified through third-party applications and tools without resorting to root. For now, we will have to wait until its presentation or more leaks to confirm it.
