Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S9 continue to rise as we count down the days for its official presentation. The firm has wanted to keep the secret of its device, but the leaks have not stopped appearing, revealing practically all the details of its specifications, functions and design. Although every time a new leak comes out, we believe that it cannot be overcome, another one emerges in much more detail. In this case, all those users in Europe are happy, as the model with an Exynos processor will be distributed. And why happy? According to a Benchmark, the Exynos 9810 processor is more powerful than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845.
Since previous versions, Samsung incorporates two processors for your device. Depending on the market, they launch one or the other. In the case of the United States, the firm opts for Qualcomm's highest-end processor. In other markets such as Spain, they opt for the Exynos processor. And as you surely know, this year the Galaxy S9 will feature Exynos 9810 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. A benchmark of the Exynos processor has given a much higher score than the Snapdragon 845. Specifically, it has achieved a score of 3648 with a single core. Whereas with the multi-core test, it has achieved 8894 points.
On the other hand, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor has a score of 2242 on a single core, and a score of 8351 on multiple cores.
Versions of the Samsung Galaxy S9 with different performance?
It is highly unlikely that Samsung will release two versions with different performance. Both processors should work the same on this device. Maybe Samsung downgrades the Exynos 9810's performance to make up for it with Qualcomm's 845. Or maybe the American version of the processor includes more RAM to compensate for that performance. Be that as it may, there are just a few days to find out officially. Still, there is no need to worry. We remember that they are only numbers.
