Last month Oppo presented its new flagships in Zurich. On the one hand we met the Oppo Reno, a mobile with a screen without a notch, a retractable front camera and a double rear camera. But this one came with an even more spectacular model, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom. Under this long name we find Oppo's top-of-the-range model, which includes a triple rear camera system with the well-known 10x zoom. Although they have already been presented, these mobiles have not yet been put on sale. However, some users seem to have already been able to test them. And, according to the leaked image, everything seems to indicate that the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom hides a pleasant surprise in the form of 60x digital zoom.
At the moment, the mobile with the most zoom is the Huawei P30 Pro. Thanks to its periscope camera, it is capable of offering a digital zoom of up to 50x. However, this record could be broken by Oppo shortly. As published by a user on Weibo, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom is capable of offering a 60x zoom, thus surpassing the Huawei terminal.
Triple camera and a very eye-catching digital zoom
For those of you who do not know, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom has a triple rear camera system. It has a 48-megapixel main sensor with f / 1.7 aperture and OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle with f / 2.2 aperture and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with f / 3.0 aperture and OIS. The latter is the one that provides a hybrid zoom of up to 10x.
However, like the Huawei terminal, we can further enlarge the image using a digital zoom. In the P30 Pro you can go up to 50x, while in the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom it seems that you can reach 60x.
A 16-megapixel front sensor with f / 2.0 aperture completes the photographic set. It is an 80º wide angle and is hidden in the upper part of the terminal.
For the rest, the latest Oppo mobile is a true “flagship”. It has a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with QHD + resolution, Snapdragon 855 processor, up to 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of internal storage, 4,065 milliamp battery and a fingerprint reader integrated into the screen. A top-of-the-range device that will also try to fight with a price that is somewhat more content than that of its rivals.
