Yesterday there were three and today there are two phones presented by Oppo. The company has just officially launched the Oppo Find X2 Neo and X2 Lite, two phones that come to complement the X2 series with a significantly lower price but which continues to position itself within the upper-middle range. Both phones use radically different design and features. Will they serve to boost the Chinese manufacturer's sales? We see it below.

Design: one of lime and one of sand
Two different designs and two different types of smartphones. The Oppo Find X2 Neo fully inherits the design of its older brother, with a 6.5-inch hole screen with AMOLED technology, Full HD + resolution and 90 Hz frequency. The cheapest model opts for a more traditional design, with a drop-shaped notch and a 6.4-inch screen with Full HD + resolution, AMOLED technology and 60 Hz frequency.
If we move to the rear, the differences are somewhat less tangible. With a chassis composed of metal and glass, both have a module of four cameras located in the upper left corner. Neither has a physical fingerprint sensor, but instead uses the screen to house the only biometric method. Also, the model with the largest diagonal has two stereo speakers.
5G connectivity by flag at the cost of hardware
5G has reached the mid-range, it is a fact. Both have the aforementioned connectivity thanks to the Snapdragon 765G processor. The difference between one and the other is part of the available memory configuration. While the Oppo Find X2 Neo has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, the Find X2 Lite has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
Beyond these differences, the truth is that both phones have similar hardware. Both have a 30 W fast charge, as well as a 4,025 mAh battery. The rest of the specifications are made up of Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, WiFi 6, compatibility with 5G SA and NSA networks, Android 10 under Color OS 7.1…
String quartet in their chambers
Certainly, the photographic section of the two phones is very similar. Both have four cameras. The most expensive model has four 48, 13, 8 and 2 megapixel sensors. The sensor settings are the usual: main, zoom, wide angle, zoom and bokeh. It is unknown if the zoom sensor has a telephoto lens. At the moment we only know that it is capable of offering a hybrid zoom of 5x and a digital zoom of 20.
As for the Oppo Find X2 Lite, the phone has four sensors of 48, 8, 2 and 2 megapixels. The chosen setting is somewhat different from its older brother: main, wide, monochrome and bokeh. The biggest difference is found in the monochrome sensor, a sensor designed to capture images in black and white with a higher level of contrast and dynamic range than an RGB sensor can offer. In contrast, the Find X2 Lite does not offer any type of zoom.
And what about the front camera? Both have a 32 megapixel sensor, although with a different focal aperture, f / 2.0 for the Find X2 Lite and f / 2.5 for the Find X2 Neo. In theory, the former is much brighter.
Price and availability of the Oppo Find X2 Neo and Find X2 Lite in Spain
Perhaps the most controversial aspect of Oppo phones is their price, or rather, their features-price ratio. Both terminals will be available in Spain from the 24th of this month for an entry value of 700 and 500 euros respectively, a value that is far from what we consider today as the mid-range. They will be available at the main points of sale: MediaMarkt, Fnac, El Corte Inglés…
