At this rate, little or no news will remain to be revealed to the Asian company OnePlus at the time of the presentation of the OnePlus 2. The official presentation of this smartphone is scheduled for July 27, and at this time we can confirm even its starting price, which will be below 400 euros. On this occasion, OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 2 will incorporate a RAM with a capacity of 4 GigaBytes, and it will be a memory that will work under the LPDDR4 technology.
The confirmation, as is usual, has taken place in the official OnePlus forums. On the one hand, it is not so surprising that finally the RAM memory will be 4 GigaBytes, since it is what most of the media intuited when talking about the characteristics of the new OnePlus 2. What is surprising is that it will be a RAM type LPDD4, resulting in lower consumption of the battery (both in use and at rest), a speed higher data transfer and, in short, a much more refined performance.
This feature, added to the fingerprint reader, the fast charging port (USB Type-C) and the Snapdragon 810 processor (in a supposedly renewed version), make us get closer and closer to officially meeting the new OnePlus 2. If we do a review of the confirmed characteristics and the rumored characteristics of this mobile, we will see that everything indicates that the OnePlus 2 will come with a screen between 5.5 and 5.7 inches that will reach a Quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The improvement in image quality should be more than remarkable, since the OnePlus OneIt presented with a screen of 5.5 inches reaching a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
As regards performance, below the housing of the OnePlus 2 everything points to a processor host Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 of eight cores (in principle with all problems corrected overheating), 4 gigabytes of RAM, 64 gigabytes of internal storage (do not know if they will be upgradeable, but we must not forget that in the case of the OnePlus One there was no slot for external memory cards), a main camera with a sensor of 16 megapixels (with LED flash) and a battery with a rated capacity at 3,300 mAh.
The OnePlus 2 will be officially presented on July 27, and its starting price will be between 250 and 400 euros. We will have to wait for its presentation to know all the details related to its availability, although we can assume that, being an Asian company, very few units will go on sale in the first days. Then, depending on the acceptance of the mobile, the stock will be renewed.
