OnePlus, the company responsible for the first OnePlus One, is determined not to miss any details before the presentation of the new OnePlus 2. On this occasion, the Asian company returns to the covers after confirming that the OnePlus 2 will be accompanied by a fingerprint reader. The position in which this fingerprint reader will be located has not yet been revealed, although there are only two possible options: under the screen or on top of the back cover (the latter would coincide with the most recent leaked photographs). As OnePlus has also confirmed,The OnePlus 2 will be officially presented on July 27.
The confirmation of this feature could not be exempt from the usual self-advertising that OnePlus makes in successive confirmations of the technical specifications of the OnePlus 2. In this case, Asians say that the OnePlus 2 fingerprint reader will allow the mobile to be unlocked faster than Touch ID, which is the fingerprint scanner that Apple incorporates in devices such as the iPhone 6 or the iPhone 5S. In its official statement, OnePlus confirms that the fingerprint reader of the OnePlus 2 will be similar to the reader that incorporates mobiles such as the Samsung Galaxy S6, which means that a single press will be enough to unlock the screen (and it will not be necessary to slide your finger as in the case of, for example, the Samsung Galaxy S5).
In recent days, OnePlus has also confirmed that the OnePlus 2 will come with a USB Type-C fast charging port, and in addition we also know that the processor that will bring its performance to life will be a Snapdragon 810 in an updated version. But be careful with the joy that all these high-end features can generate, since all of them will translate into an increase in the price of the mobile, and OnePlus itself seems to have tried to mentalize its users of the figure that can be expected by announcing that the OnePlus 2 will cost more than 300 euros.
To know the exact technical specifications of the OnePlus 2 we have to resort to rumors, and at the moment there is speculation about the possibility that this mobile can be presented with a screen between 5.5 and 5.7 inches with Quad HD resolution (2,560 x 1,440 pixels). Below the housing seems we will find a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 of eight cores in a new version (v2.1), a graphics processor Adreno 430, four gigabytes of RAM, 64 gigabytes of internal storage, a main chamber16 megapixels and a battery with a capacity of 3,330 mAh.
On July 27 we will officially know all the technical specifications - starting price included - of the OnePlus 2. And we can anticipate that it will not be a conventional presentation, since OnePlus has prepared virtual reality glasses that will allow you to follow the presentation of your new mobile in first person.
