We recently learned that the South Korean company Samsung was working on no less than three new mobile phones with metal casings that would incorporate a design very similar to the recently presented Samsung Galaxy Alpha. One of these three phones, specifically the SM-A500, has begun to pass its first official certifications, which would be confirming that the launch of this new mobile with a metal casing would be practically imminent. In fact, its official launch could occur during the event IFA 2014 to be held in the city of Berlin (Germany) between days 5and September 10.
Regarding their technical specifications, both the SM-A500 and the other two mobiles with metal sides that Samsung is working on (the SM-A300 and the SM-A700) are, to this day, a complete mystery.. There are rumors that we are talking about three mid-range mobiles whose screens will have a size of between four and five inches. The screen resolution of the SM-A500 and the SM-A700 could reach 1,280 x 720 pixels, while the resolution of the SM-A300 reach the 960 x 540 pixels.
On the other hand, if we take a look at the latest rumors related to Samsung, we will see that a recent leak revealed that this company was working on a new mid-range mobile with a 64-bit processor. This mobile will respond to the name of SM-G530, so that it is most likely that its design is completely plastic as Samsung has accustomed us with its mid-range mobiles. The processor incorporated inside this mobile would correspond to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 61x that would work at a clock speed of 1.2 GHz and would incorporate cores Cortex-A53 ARMv8 capable of offering up to fifty percent more performance compared to Cortex-A7 cores (which are present in the vast majority of current mid-range mobiles). The fact that this processor is of 64 bits ensures better performance and lower battery consumption, although it is possible to use these 64 bits is first necessary that Google begins to distribute the update Android L (a version improved Android 4.4 KitKat), which is expected to officially begin release later this year.
Let us also remember that the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a mobile that we have been talking about for a few months, although, until its official presentation, there were rumors that the case would be completely metallic. Finally the Galaxy Alpha is provided with a plastic housing and a metal side, and other specifications such as a screen of 4.7 inches with 1.280 x 720 pixel resolution, a processor Exynos 5430 of eight cores, 2 gigabytes of memory RAM, 32 GigaBytesinternal storage, a main camera of 12 megapixels and a battery of 1,860 mAh.
