The Taiwanese company HTC has taken advantage of these last weeks to discreetly filter all the specifications of the successor to the HTC One. These leaks refer to the HTC One 2, a smartphone that has also received other names such as HTC M8 or even HTC The New One. The information that has just been known in relation to this terminal reveals that, most likely, its arrival in stores will take place in mid- April.
As is usual in all the recent leaks of the Taiwanese company, the information related to the launch date of this terminal does not have any official endorsement. Even so, since the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S5 all the media agreed that HTC was practically obliged to launch its new flagship at the same time as the South Koreans (that is, during the month of April). This date has appeared in an accessories store that has opened a section for the sale of products for the new HTC One, and in these same products it can be seen that the availability date corresponds to " mid-April ".
Now, what news will the new HTC mobile bring us ? Again we have to take a look at the most recent leaks, since at the moment we do not have any official data beyond the different images in which the exact appearance of the HTC One 2 can be appreciated. The phone comes with a screen size of five inches and a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, plus modern technology including protection from bumps and scratches Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Inside we find a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with four cores running at a clock speed2.3 GHz, while the RAM accompanies the processor with a capacity of 2 GigaBytes. The internal storage capacity has not been filtered, although we have been able to know that it will be expandable up to a capacity of -probably- 32 GigaBytes through an external microSD memory card. The operating system installed as standard corresponds to Android version 4.4.2 KitKat.
The most striking novelty of this new smartphone is the camera or, rather, the two main cameras. If we look at the back of the mobile, we will see that at the top of the case we have two cameras located one below the other. It is a new dual-camera technology that, among other things, improves image stabilization and enables three-dimensional video recordings. The sensor incorporating the main camera is five megapixels, but it also includes technology UltraPixel, so the image quality is likely to be even higher than the quality of the snapshots made with a sensor cameras with more megapixels.
Although the price of the HTC One 2 is a mystery, we probably won't have to wait long to find out about it through a leak that occurs before the official launch.
