The Honor 30 range is now complete: the Chinese company has announced the Honor 30 Lite, the cheapest model of this series that competes with the Huawei P40 or the Redmi Note from Xiaomi. The new Honor 30 Lite inherits some of the characteristics of its older brothers, such as 5G or a fluid screen. However, it cuts in some features to get a cheaper price, although it remains a very interesting mobile. We review all the details of this new mid-range terminal.
The Honor 30 Lite has 5G thanks to the module that incorporates MediaTek's Dimensity 800 processor. Although it is true that 5G is not so widely implemented, in a few months we will begin to see different operators offering rates with 5G networks. Therefore, acquiring a compatible mobile with this connectivity is not a bad idea at all. In this way you avoid having to change your mobile when 5G is already more standardized. So that the terminal can be used with the same speed as 5G networks, it has 6 or 8 GB of RAM.
Another interesting feature of this Honor 30 Lite is its screen. It has a 6.5-inch LCD panel with Full HD + resolution. The most interesting thing is that it includes a 90 Hz screen. It is the same frequency that we see in the Huawei P40 Pro, Pixel 4 and other high-end phones. The 90 Hz offer a more fluid navigation, and it shows, above all, when browsing the interface or scrolling on social networks. Animations are faster and gives a greater sense of speed. In addition, this feature can also be used in compatible games or videos.
The Honor 30 Lite has a design between the Huawei P40 Lite and the Huawei P40 Pro.

As for the photographic section, the Honor 30 Lite has a triple camera on its rear, with a 48 megapixel main sensor. A standard resolution in the mid-range that allows to offer more detail in the photographs, although by default the images are taken in 13 megapixel resolution. Also included is an 8 megapixel wide angle lens, as well as a 2 mp macro sensor for portrait mode photos. The front camera is 16 megapixels, and is located in a drop-type notch.
Regarding autonomy, the Honor 30 Lite has 4,000 mAh, it is a battery with a good capacity, although we are seeing mobiles of this type with a 5,000 mAh battery. Taking into account the specifications, the battery should last us all day without any problem, although the 5G connection can make it drain faster. The load is 22W, it is considered fast charging, since it would charge 50 percent in just half an hour.
