First, we learned through a statement from the Finnish Nokia that the Nokia N9 would not have initial distribution in the United States and the United Kingdom (something that would later be hidden by the appearance of the Dean of MeeGo at Expansys and Amazon).
And now, to greater surprise, it has been known that the Republic of Kazakhstan will be in charge of serving as the backdrop for the commercial premiere of this device. At least, as long as the international launch does not coincide for that same day on the calendar.
According to a brochure echoed by Engadget, the Asian country would contemplate the launch of the Nokia N9 for that September 9 that has served to surprise those who did not expect the where or when of the launch of the expected mobile developed in Espoo.
On the other hand, the Nokia N9 would be released at a price, for the 16 GB model , of just over 670 euros, at the current exchange rate (well above what Amazon advances through its online showcase).
Recall that in the popular Internet store, that same edition would cost about 350 euros, at the current exchange rate, and that even the model that quadruples the internal memory is slightly cheaper.
The Nokia N9, in case you do not have it located, is the mobile with which the MeeGo system is released in public. It equips a 3.9-inch screen, as well as an eight megapixel camera based on the powerful Carl Zeiss optics (capable of recording video in high definition 720p).
The Nokia N9 also lacks buttons, offering a control and menu management system that works with gestures that are executed on its touch screen.
