Little by little, the possibilities of Nokia uncovering a third mobile in the Lumia series with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango are expanding. Although we have already had enough indications that point in that direction (including statements from an employee of a Spanish operator who assures that it will be put on sale for the Christmas campaign), now the firm itself could have unveiled a video in the device images are displayed.
This mobile, which is not said to be the Nokia Lumia 900 (although there are many signs that suggest that this will be the next terminal in the series), has been seen in a video posted on the official channel of developers of the Espoo- based firm. No data has been shown about it, although its design, which differs from the already known Nokia Lumia 710 and Nokia Lumia 800, necessarily leads us to think of a new addition to the range of terminals with Windows Phone.
Nokia Lumia 900
In its presentation, Nokia officials gave no signs that the presentation of new Lumia devices was imminent, so it would be surprising if the Nokia Lumia 900 reached the market before the Nokia Lumia 710 (which in Spain will not be released, according to the company pointed out in an appearance before the media of our country, until January 2012). Despite everything, the launch of a mobile even more equipped than the Nokia Lumia 800 in the most important commercial period of the year would give a lot of confidence about this new stage in the Finnish career.
And we point out that "even more equipped" because the first rumors about the Nokia Lumia 900 configure a device in the line of the so far flagship of the firm, although with expanded features. For starters, the screen would grow to 4.3 inches, retaining a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA). Its processor would operate at a speed of 1.4 GHz, although it seems that it would remain mononucleated (Microsoft ensures that Windows Phone 7.5 Mango does not require dual-core chips to function properly).
The camera, meanwhile, would be the same as the Nokia Lumia 800. We would then be facing a Carl Zeiss sensor (a type of high quality lens with excellent results, which we already knew in the Nokia N8) equipped with an eight megapixel resolution and the possibility of recording video at 720p.
