One of the main features of the Nokia 9 is that it has an on-screen fingerprint reader. The company recently released an update for the terminal, which, among other things, improved its performance. However, far from doing the same with security, it has put it in check. Some users who have already installed it have commented that the device can now be locked with any fingerprint, even with a pack of gum or other random objects.
One of those affected has shown the problem and the serious error in a video through his Twitter account. As you can see, this particular person manages to bypass the security of his Nokia 9 with the fingerprint of another person and with the base of a pack of gum pressing. In any case, skipping entry through the sensor using methods other than the personal fingerprint is not always a success. That is, it is not achieved every time. Despite this, the fact that it is achieved only once is reason enough for the Nokia 9 to immediately receive a new security update to solve this problem.
The Nokia 9 debuted last February at the Mobile World Congress. In addition to having a fingerprint reader under the panel, this model landed with five main cameras, one of its main claims. The cameras have a resolution of 12 megapixels for the five sensors and aperture f / 1.82. They differ by the ability to capture color: two sensors are RGB while the objective of the other three remaining is to capture information in black and white.
Otherwise, the Nokia 9 offers a 20-megapixel front sensor for selfies, a 5.99-inch polled panel with QHD + resolution, as well as a Snapdragon 845 processor, along with 6 GB of RAM. The terminal also includes a 3,320 mAh battery with wireless charging and Android One 9.0 Pie system. The Nokia 9 can be purchased in Spain at a price of 600 euros in stores such as PcComponentes.
