Today PureView technology is in full swing thanks to the Nokia Lumia 920. This phone, which is scheduled to launch in our country for this month of January, contains a camera that, despite having a maximum resolution from what the Nokia 808 PureView boasts, presents exceptional quality both in capturing photos and in video filming. But at this moment it is not a question of talking about the most powerful terminal of the Finnish house of those who equip Windows Phone, but, precisely, about the last great device that was put on sale with Nokia Belle "" heir to Symbian 3 "".
The Nokia 808 PureView, whose last update dates from the end of summer "" shared with the rest of the terminals that were able to obtain the so-called Feature Pack 2, the package of improvements that would have meant what was known as Nokia Carla "", has in these moments of a new bundle of novelties. On this occasion, however, the update cannot be done from the device itself. Now we will have to resort to PC Suite, a desktop application with which, from the computer, we can synchronize content between our equipment and the mobile or, as is the case, download the updates and install them through the phone's microUSB connection.
As we have learned through GSMArena, the new update is limited to Nokia 808 PureView. In other words, it is not a new installment of the Nokia Belle enhancement package. Thus, what the user of the Nokia 808 PureView will be able to install on their phone is an update dedicated exclusively to the phone's firmware . What the owner of the device will find is an installable of about 420 MB that, according to what has been known, is limited to improving the performance and some functions of the Nokia 808 PureView. Beyond this, little news about this update.
The Nokia 808 PureView is a phone that has in its camera, as we say, the main attraction. No less than 41 megapixels on a sensor that provides the best experience with digital zoom around the field of mobile telephony, and not only in shooting mode: the Nokia 808 PureView also has options to extend real - time image as recorded 1080p high definition video, also capturing sound with truly amazing quality.
However, beyond the praise its camera deserves, the Nokia 808 PureView presents itself as a mid-range smartphone. It carries a four - inch screen with a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels, and a processor to 1.3 GHz. The RAM memory remains at 512 MB, while the internal storage fund amounts to 16 GB, expandable with up to an additional 32 GB with the help of the corresponding microSD card. The connection box is very complete, having Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, microUSB and HDMI integrated.
